Expectations are quite high among the tech experts for the upcoming Apple Watch 2. The watch may have GPS, barometer, connector and some other distinguished features. The Apple Watch 2 “will be just as chunky as the original device” as articulated by Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo.
The improved battery feature will be one of the striking features expecting to be in the watch as the low battery life is the issue in the previous version. Apple Watch 2 may have an OLED display to support its battery life.
Some experts believe that Apple Watch may also have a GPS chip to help runners to track their progress, cutting the necessity of smartphone with them.
According to Ming Chi Kuo, Apple Watch 2 may be launched in the second half of 2016. Kuo also said that Apple will also launch the variant which may have few updated features, thereby is cheaper than Apple 2. This version may have LTE connectivity.
Apple has the biggest share in the current smartwatch market which makes it the undisputed leader in that category. It has shipped more than 1.6 million smartwatches this year so far, making it much far ahead than Samsung, LG and Lenovo in smartwatch market.
