With the ever increasing aerial photography, videography and surveying in the nation, Singapore is going to be the biggest hub of drone services.
Commercial drone services are on the way to become the full-fledged industry in Singapore, thanks to the increasingly popular aerial photography, videography and surveying in the nation. Besides, drone services have been economical over the recent years, making them accessible to the businesses of every size.
The service providers of drone photography and videography have claimed that they have witnessed 20 per cent to 50 per cent year-on-year growth as they are receiving lots of projects. On the other hand, The Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS), a regulatory body of drones in Singapore, unveiled that they have been submitted with over 1,000 applications for operator and activity permits since June last year. And 87% of those applications were for the aerial photography, surveillance, and videography!
