With regular use, our gadgets get spots, smudges, and fingerprints. Hence, just like your other belongings at home and office, your tech gadgets too require your attention.
Fortunately, there are several simple and affordable ways to clean your gadgets making them look new again.
- Cleaning Laptops/Notebooks
Turn off your gadget before cleaning it. Dip a microfiber cloth in the cleaning solution you usually get when you buy your laptop or notebook. And if you don’t have any, buy one from a nearby store. Wipe down the screen, mouse, and other surfaces. Turn the keyboard upside down and shake off particles trapped with the keys. Use a big soft brush to dust off the dirt. Turn on your laptop when the keyboard is completely dry.
- Smartphones and Tablets
Using a microfiber cloth, wipe away sweat and grease. Remove the battery and sim card first and then do a thorough cleaning inside the phone also.
Prepare a solution of 1 cup water and a few drops of vinegar and use it to wipe the outside of the phone. Dip a cotton bud in this solution and clean those hard-to-reach corners. Silicone phone or tablet covers can be soaked in warm, soapy water for cleaning.
